False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These programs start off at NCV level 2 plus the minimum prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

After the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
